Dan, you'll be proud to know that after the Game 3 loss, I immediately said the Celtics would win Game 4, and they did in dramatic comeback fashion. You'll no doubt be somewhat ashamed of me for not watching all of it, though, for I was positively exhausted from work for a summer class I'm teaching and a barking back. I zonked at 68-50, right before the comeback started.
The greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, and a commanding 3-1 lead. I said Celtics in 7 before it started, but you can shave a game or two off that. The Lakers got a hard body blow from that loss last night. You've experienced this twice and more recently in baseball than I have with your Sox and my Yanks, but there's nothing like the Index-Finger Factor, the great trump-card equalizer in any sports conversation and just in life in general, where you can raise that finger high to say who's number one. The Celtics are one game away from that, and I'm really pumped. I'm sure you are too. Hope all is well.
