For the record, I wrote my predictions last night - well before Dan released his. Regardless, my picks for the NL east are the same as Dan's. More accurately, Dan's are the same as mine. I think the Phillies might still be the better team, but the Mets are due one of these year, Their bullpen will be top-notch. Rotation good. Line-up great. Phillies will have a great offense. Their pitching will be the end of them though, unless its not. ... The Marlins have enough good arms and bats to be in it. Probably not, enough to get them in the post-season. Enough to give some folks heartburn. The Brave aren't deep enough either in bats or in arms to challenge the top of the division. The Nat's well, we all know that this isn't their year.
Chicago
Cincinnati
Milwaukee
St. Louis
Pittsburgh
Houston
The Cubs are the most certain pick in both leagues this year - or so it would seem if you went by "expert" predictions. I think that they probably will have enough to win the division. The Reds are the popular surprise pick, which I will go with. Brew Crew has a hell of a line-up but not enough arms. St Louis will have among the best line-ups in the league. However, their arms won't be that good. The Pirates will be much improved over last year. They might even be above .500 going into July. Give the likelihood that they will trade away talent in July, though, they won't contend for a postseason spot. The 'Stors are a team that is hurting big time.
Arizona
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Colorado
San Diego
The D-backs rotation is among the best three in all of baseball. Their bats will be good enough to compete with most of the rest of the league. All in all they will be the best of the west....The Dodgers, oh the Dodgers. Manny won't be that good over 162 games and their pitching won't either. They have the talent, but not the heart. Second place for them....The Giants have will have a top rotation. Their bats, however, will be among the worst. At the end, the bats will be good enough to be them into 3rd. ... The Rockies pitching is paper thins and their bats aren't much better. Thankfully for them, the Padres are much, much worse.
NL ROY: C Ramus

I like the end result! I too see the Mets making the playoffs. They are more then due!

Jason, why not just copy and paste what I wrote? The next time you copy me, I want attribution.
